Bringing together brand new design elements and fabrics with that classic LAUDAE look, this collection channels abundance, joy, and allure to make you look and feel your best.

We’re delighted to introduce you to LAUDAE’s newest cohort of bridal gowns for the sexy, spirited babe. Meet Marrakesh, Monaco, Santos, Tropez, Victoria, and Vienna—six subtle homages to their namesakes that are full of personality. 

Meet the Helios Collection

Rain on your wedding day? It won’t matter. Why? You, in your Helios Gown! This collection of gowns is designed to bring out the playful side in every badass bride. 

“Each season, it’s our goal to propel forward while still staying true to our brand roots,” says Gaby Bayona, LAUDAE’s Founder and Creative Director. “In the Helios collection, this is embodied by juxtaposing new silhouettes and fabrics with the brand classics our brides know and love.”

Sexy Wedding Gowns For the Modern Babe

Setting this collection apart from both the Kairos and Signature collections are three playful new bodices. 

The Marrakesh, named for the beautiful and vibrant Moroccan city, represents LAUDAE's first foray into a modern bandeau bodice. Fixed with thin spaghetti straps and dressed in graphic off-white lily guipure lace, Marrakesh marries billowing bell sleeves with a sexy silhouette. This gown is perfect for bold brides that will be on the dance floor all night long. 

The Santos gown is named after the vibrant city of Todos Santos in Mexico. With its asymmetric bodice and guipure lace overlay, Santos brings playfulness and personality to the simple beauty of the modern mermaid skirt. Santos is the gown for thrill seeking brides who are always the life of the party. 

Monaco, named for the country renowned for fame and fortune, balances contemporary design with a classic bridal silhouette. In a luxurious crepe backed satin, the subtle mermaid skirt contrasts with the sequinned deep-v bodice, but it’s the kinetic, alluring cowl back that truly stops the show. Monaco is perfect for the elegant bride with a sexy side. 

But these silhouettes aren’t all that’s new. The unique fabrics introduced in the Helios collection are our new favourites. 

Swoon-Worthy Fabrics (For Real)

If you’re familiar with LAUDAE, you know they take sustainability very seriously. This is why the Santos gown is made from deadstock fabric, saved from a previous collection. This practice breathes brand new life into a beautiful fabric, reduces contribution to waste streams, and creates a gorgeous new gown you can feel good about wearing.

The materials introduced in this collection are exactly what we hoped they’d be. They’re well made, effortlessly cool, and bring so much personality to the Helios gowns. 

Tropez, named for the bohemian Saint-Tropez in France, is one of our favourite examples. Offered in both delicate lacy off-shoulder sleeves or voluptuous bishop sleeves, Tropez brings a super chic pearl cluster lace to the LAUDAE roster. Made with a short train in a comfy Italian stretch lining, Tropez is perfect for the vivacious bride that’s happiest poolside, basking in the sun. 

Then there’s Victoria, a statuesque gown named for the breathtaking Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Available in a simple luxe crepe backed satin or with lily guipure lace overlay, and finished with a thigh high split, Victoria is made for the bold, statement making bride. She makes her own rules, and we love her for it. 

Lastly, Vienna. Named for the stately, elegant capital of Austria, this gown is an instant classic. Vienna introduces a new Baby’s Breath lace with scattered sequin accents to the collection, balancing a minimal square neckline with an effortlessly chic fabric. Vienna is elegant and eye-catching, perfect for the bride with refined tastes.

“We really enjoyed working with this variety of textures,” says Bayona. “Some of the collection's fabrics are ultra smooth and some perfectly balance a variety of challenging elements. We’re really pleased to be bringing these materials to our brides.” 

Helios: For the Radiant Bride

This collection is a celebration of all things you. Each gown is made of high quality materials in our Vancouver studio, and is designed with supreme comfort in mind. The result is a collection of sexy gowns that brides actually enjoy wearing.

LAUDAE has also expanded their commitment to creating a truly size inclusive brand. For the Helios collection, every gown was photographed on two models, one who wore size 2 and one who wore size 22, which can be seen on the collection's individual product pages. We hope that these photographs will help all brides imagine how a gown will fit them, and will further demonstrate our commitment to being a brand for every body.
