How did you know your dress was “the one”?
I saw Whitney in the window of the Vancouver store about a year before I even had a wedding date. It stopped me in my tracks, I snapped a pic, google lens'd it, saved it to my pinterest, and forgot about it.
By luck, I booked my appointment at Lovenote Ottawa a year later and when I arrived, Billie told me she had one of my Pinterest dresses to try on. It was fate. As soon as I put her on, I felt like the most beautiful version of myself. I loved every dress I tried on at Lovenote, but it was no competition. Whitney chose me before I even chose her.

What moment from your wedding day felt the most magical?
I paddled into my wedding ceremony by canoe, a big part of my life and story. After we exchanged vows, we walked down the aisle and went for an impromptu paddle to spend time with one another on the water, even just a few moments.
What advice would you give yourself when you first got engaged?
Put simply: you can do whatever you want, whenever you want to do it!
