It's wedding dress shopping season, y'all 💍
Recently, we had the pleasure (read: extreme excitement) of hosting Ricci of ToThe9s at our Vancouver boutique. The mission: to find her one true wedding dress ahead of her wedding to fiancĂ© Kyle.Â
And what better place to look than at our bright and airy Gastown loft boutique?Â
The day
Ricci visited us with her mom, her soon-to-be mother-in-law, and two BFFs. They had the shop all to themselves—a dress shopping dream! Due to distance and COVID, Ricci was joined by more friends and family on Zoom, who were just as excited to see this beautiful bride-to-be modelling her potential wedding dress for them!
The dresses
 While we obviously can't tell you which dress stole Ricci's heart (but we can confirm, she looked *stunning*, and yes, we teared up when she said yes to the dress), she tried on quite a few to get an idea of what she liked about different gowns. That's one of our best tips for how to approach wedding dress shopping when you don't know where to start: try different silhouettes, fabrics, and accessories and figure out what works best for you!
She first stepped out in the LAUDAE Rhodes, a fitted mermaid gown with botanical lace, a plunging neckline, and a wide open back. Some of the other gorgeous styles she tried include Mackenzie, Celine, and a customized LAUDAE number exclusively found at Lovenote.
The result
