Sian + Chandler: An Intimate Valentine's Day Wedding in Aesling's Penelope Gown

half-left

How did you know your dress was “the one”?

I just felt very comfortable in the dress, but also very bridal. It had all of the pieces I liked from the previous dresses I had tried on in one. I also could not stop smiling once I put it on!

How would you describe your wedding aesthetic in a few words?

Intimate, romantic, and classic!

What moment from your wedding day felt the most magical?

Walking into our venue together—just the two of us—to get to see the room and the beautiful work our vendors did setting up. We were able to take in the day together before all of our guests arrived, and that small moment carried so much meaning.

What advice would you give yourself when you first got engaged?

Start wedding dress shopping earlier! We got married about six months after we got engaged, and I should have started shopping immediately because even six months is a shorter timeline than most places need to make a dress.
