How did you know your dress was “the one”?
I actually came to Lovenote to try on a different dress, and my mom picked this one in the showroom so I decided to humour her. It was so comfortable, fit well, and matched the aesthetic perfectly.
I also felt connected to the dress as it has those gorgeous iris flowers which was my maternal grandmother’s wedding flower. In the end it just felt perfectly meant to be!

What moment from your wedding day felt the most magical?
There was a moment as we were starting our first dance that our photographer (brilliantly) suggested we quickly switch locations to be by the water. We ran between the tables and ended up in the most beautiful light, by the water, surrounded by our loved ones. We were beaming and giggling and really had a moment to soak in what an incredible day it had been.
What advice would you give yourself when you first got engaged?
Trust your gut and everything else will work itself out. But let’s be real, she wouldn’t have listened anyways ;)
