How did you know your dress was “the one”?
Cassie was one of the first wedding dresses I tried on. I loved it immediately because it fit me so well, it was comfortable & I felt it was so classic! The strapless A-line with the corset back, and then the detail of the embroidery that you only notice when you get up close; it was perfect!
After Lovenote, I went to another shop and none of the dresses I tried on there lived up to how amazing I felt in the Cassie dress.
How would you describe your wedding aesthetic in a few words?
Fun, colourful, romantic.
What moment from your wedding day felt the most magical?
The entire day from start to finish felt magical honestly; however, the moments that stand out the most are our private vows - it was so nice to have some time just us two <3
Secondly, our reception when we got to look out at the room filled with all our friends and family all evening. The energy was all love & joy, and it was the most incredible feeling!
What advice would you give yourself when you first got engaged?
Enjoy this time! Yes, you have a wedding to plan but try to slow down and enjoy being engaged. Remind yourself often that most importantly, your wedding day is about celebrating you two and your love.
Plan your day to feel like you and don’t stress over the small details; I promise (most of them) don’t matter as much as you think.a
